This is made of metal and it is much better that the original one in my car. The original one in my car is made of plastic that becomes brittle after time and cracks easily.This is slightly bigger than original, but just by a few millimeters. The difference in size is so minimal that it does not affect anything. I am very satisfied with the quality of this product.

This is a great replacement for the composite pulley that separated on a 1998 Chevy Malibu 3.1. Mounted and aligned easily, and is metal, so no repeats of this issue.

I dropped a LS 6.0L in a 71 Lemans. Pulley was hitting the steering box so I tried one of these. Some people said it would turn the pump to fast but I have had 0 issues and no difference in my power steering feel. You do have to push the pulley down further then normally to make the belt line up So if you ever have to pull it off may be a challenge with out the right tools.Its metal not plastic so very strong.Works great.

This pulley is metal. It works a lot better than the plastic one on the 01 grand am 3400.

We used it, as recommended, for a 2004 Chevy Venture. It seems to work (just installed), though you cannot put it all the way back as the factory one because it will hit the engine's body.Insert it till pass 1/8 of an inch before reaching the end; though for other cars it may be flat with pump's axle end, as it should. Material is steel, much better than the factory plastic which was cracking on the top.

Working great room to spare 5.3 ls swap chevelle it took a 62 inch belt hope it helps someone had to cut little bit off shaft do it before hand makes pulley easier to pull off if needed
