This part fit up well and appeared to be of decent construction. The OEM bracket failed at 240K miles so I'm hoping I get at least 100K out of this one. You do have to go surprisingly deep to replace this but it's not too bad of a job. You end up removing all three timing belt covers and a lot of associated cable connections and a few hose connections. There are some good videos on Youtube that are helpful in what all to remove. I recommend following them pretty close because there are a few hidden fasteners that aren't entirely obvious.

Should have read the reviews before purchaseDorman has made some questionable quality parts over the years but I'd have to say this one tops the list of questionable, and "quality oem"After about 36miles of driving my mom heard a bang from the front and had to pull over on Interstate 4 she was frazzled but okay, the new Dorman part I just installed had failed even more catastrophically than the OE one the bearings disingrated and fell into the timing (had to redo timing belts and water pump bc plastic and mental was lodged in pulleys and timing belt) radiator was crushed by the fan which struck it and caused a hole (new radiator as well) so yea a 120 dollar part caused over 300$ in parts damages don't but this POS part I went with a Gates version from rock auto for 88 bucks and a gates belt for 33 bucks for 138 bucks I had my tundra running and stronger than ever so far the gates parts are holding well.

Part seems to be good quality. It fit just like the original one did in a 2003 Toyota Sequoia

This review comes a little late (I've had this item for about seven months waiting for the rest of the car to be finished) but I feel some clarification needs to be offered. One can buy this item from Lexus for several hundred dollars, or buy this one for a lot less. Both do the same thing on the engine it is designed to be used on. Also bear in mind that the original part was designed and manufactured off-shore, so "American made" doesn't enter in the discussion. The part I received was brand new, the seller offered a money-back guarantee, and it bolted on like the original. Not all sellers are as honest as some, so read the reviews! Lowest price doesn't always mean best deal.

I originally bought this pulley bracket here on Amazon because it's $40 cheaper than at AutoZone which is ridiculous but you know how it goes.. I changed this bracket while doing a bunch of other stuff on my V8 4Runner (timing belt, power steering, idler pulley etc..) and after everything was complete I thought I noticed a weird engine vibration above 4k rpm.. i initially wrote it off because i had fixed a bad idler pulley that was making a lot of noise and that probably just made it more noticeable now.. Fast forward a month and i track the offending vibration down to this bad fan pulley bracket I replaced "while i was in there" and I unfortunately threw away my OEM toyota bracket that was perfectly fine--just 165k miles old. So i take this bracket off and spin it and while it has no detectable play in the shaft there is a tiny gritty spot when you spin the pulley.. My return window for the part has unfortunately closed so I go to AutoZone to buy a new pulley bracket and out of the box it too has the gritty spot. Go to another AutoZone in town and try another bracket and that one is much tighter to spin but has no gritty spot. Installed today and problem is gone. Very annoying, but OEM part is $345 and I'm too dumb to learn my lesson. That's my story, decide if it's worth it for you. Oy vey!

Had some casting flash that needed to be removed to mount correctly. It’s been about 6 months and the bearings are already starting to chirp. Not bad but not the best, to be honest.
