Even though it says it will fit a 3800 v6 it will not fit easily at all you MUST find GM part #1254119.that is the correct grommet for these motors.NO OTHER grommets will fit correctly! The ONLY way to make this grommet fit somewhat easy is to boil it for an hour in water then it will fit easier but it is still a pain.

this was a difficult to put in very tight and could hardly assemble the PVC valve or push the valve in the rubber garment.I bought two of these from two different company's this one from AC Delco, and one from Dorman, they looked identical with the same numbers cast in them , and the softness was the same to the hand,not really sure which one I used, both were the same from what I could figure.but the old one was hard and broke and need replacement, and this worked but was not easy to assemble,
