This was purchased for a 1997 Jeep Wrangler TJ. The item appears to be of good build quality and is the proper thickness to repair the common rust areas on the TJ’s. It came with hardware for securing the rear sway bar link and lower control arm, but not the rear track bar. One thing I did notice was the bottom channel appears to only be tack welded as opposed to a solid bead weld, but I’ll address that during install. Overall, very happy considering this was a $15 purchase from Amazon Warehouse, I really can’t stress how great it’s been purchasing things from that division of Amazon.

It appears to be made high quality. When it arrived, the 2 sides were slightly bent together so it wouldnt fit over the existing frame piece. After fighting to bend it out, completed the install. This is the 3rd frame cap I have installed. The walls on this one is higher which makes it much more difficult to weld than the other 2. With the walls being taller it makes it difficult when doing the repair with the body on the jeep. Definitely designes to be a body off install.

Fits nicely and comes with new hardware. Better quality than the Chinese knockoffs, so it is totally worth the difference in price. These control arm brackets are crucial to the alignment of your Jeep, so if you go cheap on this part, you may suffer later.

Prefab dimensions are not accurate. Setting lower control arm brackets to maintain wheel base resulting in upper control arm brackets to be off by half a bolt hole. The only fox for this is adjustable upper control arms. Other than that they are fine. I’m not sure they are better than others offered at half the price. Weldable primer is a joke. There is paint under the primer. Just buy unpainted pieces. Mask and paint yourself.

Should have been 5 star but bracket was missing both bolts. Had to go out and pay for those myself. Otherwise the bracket seems to fit well.

Does not fit like you think it would i would return it but I had to use it to patch what I cut out of my frame now I'm going to have to buy another from a different brand and restart
