The product it's just as described and I got it as expected, but the system which is supposed to verify it's compatible with my vehicle didn't work fine. This cap it's way smaller than the one I need to use on my Outlander Sport 2013. Product description stated this dorman 55242 engine coolant recovery tank cap would fit my 2013 Outlander sport. NOT. There were no measurements in the product specs so I could not be sure

The cap I needed had to be purchased at Mitsubishi. The sight did say it would fit my car but it was too small. Had the same problem at the auto parts store , we finally called the dealership and was told it had to be ordered from them.
