Here are some specs that are not in the description:1. HELP Part #551972. End of cable with control knob has a 6mm x1.00 pitch thread (about 5/8" long)3. Cable mounting end with nuts is about 5-1/4" Long and has 11mm x1.25 pitch thread4. Actual "outer" cable housing measures: 5/16" diameter x 92-3/4" Long.5. Actual "inner" solid (NOT multi-strand) cable measures: .090 diameter6. Length of exposed .090 diameter cable at end is about 3-3/8" Long (with knob pushed all the way in).

It was a little larger that I imagined. The black plastic knob came apart into two pieces after install. Super glue fixed it. Very heavy duty. works great.

Rounded top nut would not fully engage threaded shaft, so adjustment of height had to be done from under the vehicle, requiring multiple trips to the underside of vehicle. Obviously engineered off-shore by someone with no user experience.
