Had the dreaded ABS and Brake light on. It would intermittently light up and then reset after I shut down. Checked all the grounds and even opened up the abs unit it’s self and checked for cold solders. Determined the unit itself was bad. Replaced it with this unit and it fixed it.ICE Auto had to FedEx this one to me. Original order was lost. Good Job Ice Auto for making it right!Okay, so 7 moths later this unit failed. Waiting to get a reply from Ice Auto for a warranty replacement since this one failed less than a year later. I’m knocking my rating to 3 stars and subject to go up from there if they make it right. If not my rating is going down to one.Update 10/2020 No offer to honor the warranty from Ice Auto. Purchased a replacement from AutoZone. No Stars!

Second Update: A few days after my updated review, a core refund magically arrived in the mail. I added back a star for this. The part has been flawless so far (minimal driving, installed for 4-5 months). Update: It has been four months since I returned the core for a refund, and I have neither received a refund or an explanation for lack of said refund. Unit is performing fine with no issues. Bad business to advertise that customers will receive money back when the reality is, you won't be getting that refund. I knocked off two stars for that.Original Review: Was getting 5 or 6 trouble codes related to ABS. Google search indicated that the control module was likely to blame. Installed this part and no more ABS or Brake lighting up on the dash. I live in a dry climate, and the Torx screws that hold this unit to the ABS pump were still too rusted to remove on the vehicle. Not sure what GM was thinking using a T-20 in that location. The only option for removal in place was a hex wrench style Torx key. No way to get enough purchase on that little fitting with that wrench. I removed the entire pump assembly and clamped it in a bench vise to remove the screws. To bleed the system after re-installation, I went ahead and replaced all the brake fluid. There seems to be some concern that a special scan tool is needed to get the system bled after allowing air into the pump, but I had no issues bleeding the lines in the traditional fashion. Truck stops great and no sponginess in the pedal at all. I did work the brakes hard and force the ABS to activate, which is supposed to be sufficient to bleed the pump. Worked fine for me. I have not returned for core yet, so I have no idea how well that process works.

Bought this for my 1999 Chevy Silverado 1500 2wd. Perfect fit. ABS light turned off after a short drive, no reprogramming needed.

I have a 2000 Chevy Silverado LT and both my Brake and ABS warning lights would come on in the dashboard console. Used my BlueDriver OBD2 scan tool to read the ABS trouble code, which indicated a problem with the ABS Control Module and the most common fix was to replace it. I could not find any new ABS Control Modules (these are no longer manufactured), so I tried this Dorman 599-705 Remanufactured ABS Control Module and sure enough, after replacing the Control Module my Brake and ABS dashboard lights turned off.

Definitely plug and play. Wish it came with new screws. Not sure if it works. The relay code is gone but getting a Sensor 3 code. My scan tool is reading sensor 3 just fine. ABS and brake light still on but no more false activation or soft peddle. I’m going to replace sensor 3 and hope for the best

This product fit perfectly, at this time no abs codes as the relay in the old abs module was stuck open.
