This new wiper transmission and motor fit my 2013 GMC 2500 6.0L perfectly. This is the third transmission for the truck that I know of and my last one only lasted 4 years or occasional use. My 2005 did not have all these issues and I am not sure what they changed to cause the joints to seize on this model year, but it is a known issue. Dol yourself a favor and swap yours out today. I added extra grease to all the joints to hopefully extend the life of this version. It took 45 minutes to swap out and is very easy to do.

This is built and functions more smoothly than the stock equipment, however GM BUILT THE WIPER RELAY INTO A TRAY OF FUSES UNDER THE HOOD. All signs led me to believe the stock motor/transmission had failed. It had not! It is easy to open up and remove/replace this assy with several YouTube videos showing exactly how to do it, however on the 2012 GMC Denali I put this on the actual problem was the tray of relays/fuses on the drivers side under hood control box. A hard to find $200.00 easy swap part that should have simply been a relay replacement, but GM built the relay into the circuit card of the tray. I hope that helps someone else frustrated by a poor design on the factory’s part.

Worked for a while and then the screw backed off, dropping the arm. I replace screw several times even put Loctite on, works on intermittent low but when turned on high, the screw comes off again. Have taken apart more than five times trying to fix and screw continues to fall off Very cheaply made with shallow bolt for screw. Have to excessively lineup so blades rotate correctly instead of backwards. A good concept, but cheaply made. Wish I could return but notice the return window October 2024. I believe this to be unfair for poorly made parts and should be corrected. I will upload a photo or video once I take the part back off again to show the compromise part.
