Nope - do not work for CV joints. Don't get tight enough.

I bought this to replace the missing strap on my trucks front CV boot. it fit fine, but I wasn't able to get it tight enough. No instructions or suggestions on how to do that. I tried several tools and methods, just couldn't get it as tight as I would like..basically ineffective in my opinion...sorry.

Pull it tight until the rubber squeezes out the side, then watch it back off a millimeter or two and become loose enough to slip off when you let it go. Complete garbage.
