This is a very good replacement for the OEM metal fan blades. After a number of years (I bought this for my 1991 Chevy Astro) the original blades get slightly bent and out of balance. This current fan blade is made from hard plastic and doesn't bend. It fit perfectly and installed quickly. Its function is as good as the original ever was.

I bought this for a fan upgrade for my 2002 jeep grand Cherokee Laredo. This is the fan you need to match the Hayden Automotive 2787 Premium Fan Clutch to fit inside your jeep Cherokee fan shroud. It’s just a fan other than that.

I used this in conjunction with Hayden 2787 clutch on a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Even though it's not the vehicle it's designed for. It is loud but I blame that more on the clutch that doesn't disengage at higher engine speeds. I was able to squeeze it and the clutch installed together onto the shaft without removing the shroud or removing anything. Don't be concerned about it being plastic. It is tough plastic but gave just enough flex to get the combo it there without taking the Jeep apart. I would prefer it to be about a half inch in diameter smaller for my application but thats not the fans fault. Can't beat it for the price.
