The heater hose completely separated at the T junction on my 09 Explorer, dumping water/coolant everywhere. Took a buddy and me about an hour to remove the broken part and get this one installed. It was a tight fit at the bottom and definitely needed a second set of eyes to help guide it on. Not too bad overall and it’s been running perfectly ever since.

Great hose. Glad the T connector is metal. My old plastic T broke so bought this to replace entire hose unit. Would have given it a five star. Only complaint is the hose clamps it came with were slightly smaller than my old hose clamps so I had to use my old clamps to attach it.

So as a typical penny pincher I tried to repair this hose with a plastic T fitting, new hose and clamps. I ordered this part just in case my DIY cheapskate repair failed. Note it failed, I wasted $20 in parts , 2 hours in time and coolant spilled everywhere...I installed this part in less than 20 minutes. The clamps were perfect, no leaks at all...Lessened learned, don't DIY this and just buy this part.

I got this for my 2010 ford explorer even though it says it does fit my model & it worked perfectly. My mechanic took about 15-20 minutes to get it on as my old one was broken. Still holding strong & it's been about 2 & a half months. Autozone told me I could only get this part from the Ford dealership & O'Reilly wanted to charge me $80-$100 for this same part. Yeah no, amazon for the win.

Bought for my 08 explorer Eddie Bauer. Took about an hour to take off the old and put this one on. No more coolant leaks. You need to take off your passenger wheel, and move the wheel well cover to get to the lower connection at the oil cooler fyi

It took about an hour to put it on. Had to remove the left front tire. So far it’s working great. The fit was good.
