This ATF drain plug went right in after getting the factory plug off. If you haven't opened this plug at all since you owned the car. I highly recommend getting this because you will destroy the factory plug trying to get it out. Your socket only goes in halfway on the factory plug. This Dorman aftermarket plug fits the socket all the way and much easier to remove later on.This product fits a 2004 Honda Accord EX V6 if you are wondering. Honda makes ATF drains and fills super easy. No messy pan to drop or gasket or pan filter to replace.After refilling with Genuine Honda ATF DW1 fluid, you will notice your shifting will be smoother. The difference is noticeable. My ATF drain and refill were overdue and I plan on doing it again next year when I change my oil next.

My 06 Accord's (EX, V6) drain plug was practically fused to the vehicle. It was so hard to remove that the wrench slipped off and partially stripped the square insert. I got it out and purchased this replacement. Looks, feels (weight etc) just like the OEM part. The magnet was solidly attached (contrary to other user's experiences). Fit perfectly. Would recommend.

1. Fast shipping. Very good packaging.2. The magnet is much stronger than the original transmission plug on my 2004 CR-V.3. No leaks after the install. Driven more the 100 miles and the transmission shifts are very smooth on my 2004 CR-V.4. Good value and quality for the money you spent.5. Tempted to change on my other honda vehicles as well, since the magnet seems to be much stronger than the other plugs I have seen.

I installed this plug transmission drain plug on my 2013 Honda Pilot. Fit like it should and the magnet shaving catcher was 10x stronger than the OEM plug it replaced.
