Manifold required the same O.E.. secondary air injection rail repair as the factory installed one didn't get which is why all of them crack. Guess when you order a half million rails that turn out to be defective, you bend the manifolds and pry the rails in to place. Shame it only takes 5 mins with a torch and jig to align it, an grinding a radius and camfer on the lower inside of both rail mounts. Great product, I recommend not to grind the manifold to make your rail fit, use the old gasket for the jig, and correct the rail!!!

I know people love to hate Dorman, but this part seems to be cast better than the original GM part. Fit correctly, installed like it should have, and it hasn't failed the same way the original did. No complaints.

Don’t waste you’re time mad money on cheap made in China parts. Aside from being poorly made, the metal looks like the cheapest material they can possibly make it out of. The manifold doesn’t include the gasket or any nuts and bolts even though the picture shows it does. The box arrived in one piece and NOT damaged so it’s not likely anything fell out in progress. Many reviewers said “all they had to do was modify it and it worked great.†In my point of view time is money and having to spend time to modify what should’ve been done right in the first place isn’t worth the few dollars saved upfront.After carefully inspecting, measuring and comparing the new manifold to the OEM manifold I realized it was way off compared to the original. At first I figured I probably got a bad defective one, so I ran down to the local auto parts store and bought the exact same one.After trying to install the second manifold made by the same company I ran into the exact same situation. As you can see from the pictures I provided the manifold is made so much bulkier it hits the block at the bottom. Another issue is the studs rub against the manifold as they go through the holes which can cause the bolts to snap off ones they heat up and vibrate. Needles to say I will be returning this cheap made part and getting my money back. Spend the few extra dollars on a well made part and save yourself the headache.

Fit like OEM. Only comes with flange gasket. You will need manifold gaskets. Be sure to clean the oil off of it before running your motor.

Warning! Match up the bolt holes from your old and new manifolds. You will notice that the OEM manifold has a thickness of 1/4†from the outside of the manifold to the OD of the bolt hole. The Dorman manifold measures @1/2â€. It is the bolt hole located on the bottom right (drivers side). You MUST grind it down or the manifold will not seat properly causing massive frustration.

Good price and it came with gasket and seal for catalytic converter. To buy from an auto store was $100 more. A muffler shop charged $550 to do the job. So it’s better to buy part online. I did have to grind the bottom tabs on manifold and also one side to get it to fit properly.This manifold was more robust than the factory manifold hence the need to grind to fit.

2010 malibu 2.0LGood price and wverything included in a kit. I was nervous to buy because of claims of having to grind the casting to make it fit. Its true you do have to grind a bit on the bottom on driver side of the casting. But its really no big deal and easyto do. But dorman should have had this fixed in their production its unacceptable in my opinion. But regardless for the price it otherwise fits great and performs like new, and for the cost and getting the whole kit I would recommend it
