When I was shopping for an end yoke for the FRONT differential of my 2002 Duramax 3500, I had a difficult time finding the right product. I relied on measurements instead of the manufacturer's listings. The manufacturer describes this part as a "Rear Differential End Yoke Compatible with Select Models," but it will work on the front differential of LB7 series Duramax models from 2001 to 2004.Here are the measurements I took:- Length (from outside ear to outside ear): 99 mm- Height (from the outside top to the outside bottom): 61 mm- Spline shaft opening: 58 mm across.- Metal bearing cover: inside 58 mm across, outside 92 mm across.The inside measurement of the metal ring cover, which protects the seals and bearings closest to the differential, is 58 mm across. This ring fits over the nub of the outside shaft of the spline. It's fine and fits. However, the outside measurement of this ring is approximately 92 mm. This discrepancy could cause issues and is one of the reasons it has been returned so much. IDKIf you still have your old yoke, you can use a bearing puller to remove and reuse the cover. The old cover measures approximately 86 mm across, which is just enough variance to create potential problems. Once I swapped out the new metal bearing cover with the old one, it mated to the differential housing as it is supposed to; it worked like a charm.Doorman has consistently produced high-quality products, and this yoke is no exception. I am writing this review to help clarify any confusion you might encounter when choosing a product for your needs. It would be helpful if the manufacturer included measurements in the product description.Hope this helps

Part G26060975 replaces the lousy seal that comes on this part. Pryed it off w a flathead, install took careful placement of metal & wood to press the new seal on

Price was good and available. Less expensive than an OEM part plus it also came with a new seal which is not included from the dealer.I had the exact Dorman part on my truck for years and it would still be good if I didn't ruin it myself.

First of all you need to know that the seal that comes with this kit is not standard oem size due to size of the yoke. The id of the seal is larger than standard for these model trucks. The yoke fits perfect on the pinion shaft. All that's is good. Now, i installed this on my 01 silverado in late april. Seal is now bad. Contacted Dorman and they told me they don't sell the seal separately. They did provide me the GM part number that you must use with this kit. The GM number is 26064028. It fits perfectly. This is the seal that you must use if this kit is installed. The standard oem size that would normally fit these trucks will NOT work with this kit.

All parts on point. *** except**** DO NOT USE THE DORMAN SEAL. You have to get the GM seal (that would be General Motors)

Seal depth different than original equipment on yoke. Still leaked, had to get a different seal and put old yoke back on.
