Other than the magnet being glued onto the wrong side of the cover ( above the oil line) there are no complaints. Besides the factory cover doesn’t have a magnet, its mounted on the bottom of the housing.

Perfect fit and finish from doorman. Everything lined up perfectly. Don’t really like that it says made in China on it and also when installed the doorman logo is sideways. No big deal but they should’ve thought of one manufacturing

Nice beefy cover for corporate 14 bolt rear end on a 2005 Silverado 2500HD. Flat surface for sealing. Pick up a Felpro gasket as it doesn’t come with ones. And if your bolts are really rusty, be sure to get the right length or a mm or two shorter. Closest hardware store offering is a couple mm too long. Holes in diff are blind and too long a bolt will look tight and feel tight, but be bottomed out and cause leaks. Only complaint is the white lettering on the outside of the cover. Of course, this went on a 15 year old, rust-belt firewood getter, so that is the least of the cosmetic concerns on this truck. But it might not be suitable for your Texas station wagon that gets waxed twice a month.

Replaced a rusted out original cover. This cover might of had slightly less thickness than the original. The cover I replaced was very rusted and was hard to compare the thickness.
