My 2003 Silverado 2500HD was displaying an Accelerator Switch code and this part was an Amazon “Will fit your vehicle†and it fit perfectly and fixed the problem and eliminated the code. If you’re a DIY and have some basic tools, you can replace this part (but you’ll need a security bit set to remove the old switch. HF for $6. PLUS it was delivered within 12 hours of my ordering it!!!!

This sensor failed on me 4 different times within 100 miles after installation, while pulling a trailer. When it fails, your engine will stay running but your accelerator pedal loses signal, so if you are driving through town at low speed you will be stuck in the middle of the road.I immediately uninstalled this part and tossed it in the trash. I replaced it with the GENUINE GM part # 19370277 (made in Canada, This part comes with the whole foot pedal and sensor attatched , GM does not sell just the sensor alone).After replacing it with this genuine part I have driven hundreds of miles so far and it has not failed once.

It works just as well as the gm part. Save your money and get this but also make sure the TAC module is not the problem. Its mounted on firewall on drivers side. Amazon nailed it once again. Thanks!
