Way easy to install only dumb thing was that by moving one small piece (and they don't tell you) you can lock it while installing and then your tailgate wontbwork...so I took it apart twice before I did a hand splat and used my key to open it. Duh, blondes.

I wanted to replace my current tailgate handle with a lockable one. This is required for that due to the latch that is not on the non-lockable mechanism. If you're doing the same thing you'll need this, a new handle with the lock hole, the lock cylinder, and the lock pawl that fits inside the lever on this.

I had to use the old rod clamps because the ones that came with it kept coming apart when I closed the tailgate. I had it closed and had the tonneau cover on the truck and couldn’t get it open. 🤬

the latch fit perfectly and is working great. I did have to google how to install it as there weren't instructions included.

Worked great to replace my factory rusted out latch, now I can easily open my 2013 F350 tailgate again. Took about 5 mins to install
