Why pay Mercedes $600 when you can buy this one and use a different electrical connector. Absolutely identical otherwise, same manufacturer codes. You can get the pigtail for it here on Amazon too.

Arrived quickly, looks like a quality part. The motor housing is metal instead of plastic, so I like that. Easy install. I suggest you take the bracket out that holds it, which makes it easier to install the 3 rubber shock absorbers. Fixed my problem of HVAC staying in default defrost mode. Had work done on the truck at the dealership, and one of the vacuum hoses may have been knocked loose, which led it to completely fall off off the nipple where it was supposed to be plugged, which I suspect made the vacuum motor run continuously until it burned up the motor on the own pump.

Fits 2002 Ford F-250 XLT Super Duty Super Cab Powerstroke turbo diesel 7.3L.Exact size as OEM. Appears to be made of the same materials & could tell no difference in weight.Installation:1). Remove the old pump (mine was working but could find no replacement hoses).2). Remove bracket.3). Remove rubber mounting plugs from the bracket with needle nose pliers by pushing the top-side ring through the bracket.4). Installed the top ring of the plugs (the blunt side toward pump) up through the bottom of the pump mounting holes using the blunt end of an O-ring pick. Apply & maintain pressure to the plug while walking the ring around & through the hole. It’ll take a little experimenting to get the method down. Suggest not worrying about damaging the plug & just push hard leaning the plug one way to work the first side through, then holding steady while pushing each of the remaining three sides of the ring through. Do all three before mounting to bracket.5). From the bottom of the bracket pull the first ring of the rounded end of the rubber plugs through the mounting holes with a stout pair of straight pliers. I used a pair of wire-cutting pliers.6). Installed the bracket with the original bolts. Finger-tight first, then either a 1/4” ratchet & 10mm socket or an impact with a long flexible extension or right angle attachment. Small ratchet was necessary for tightening down the bottom bolt.7). Use dielectric grease on the harness plug with the clipping-end facing up.Tips:*Don't use anything too slippery for lubricant when installing the rubber plugs. I started with coconut oil. Too slippery for the O-ring pick. Wiped it off & used no lubricant (but Vaseline or similar could help).**Don't worry about damaging the plugs. I was rough on them & they did not tear. My blunt O-ring pick poked a few holes here & there but it didn’t affect the plugs.
