bought this and other purge valve for a 2010 ford explorer xlt to fix a check engine light for open gas cap, after replacing both, I've had no problems with the CE light. ones under the car and the other is in the engine bay. one's a pain to install, one is easy. I don't remember which is which.

Installation on a 2007 Ford Explorer took about 15 minutes. Lay down some cardboard so you don't get your clothes dirty and use some pliers to back off the fitting. Easy, I recomment!

Fixed my Evap check engine code on my 06 Ford explorer. Easy to install. Found installation instructions on YouTude video. Make sure you purchase the right model. This one model. There are two. This one has white mounting nylon fittings.
