2007 Cadillac Escalade ESV w Vortec 6.2L L92 V8 403hp 240,000 milesDorman 911-521 (GM AC Delco 13576611) Vapor Canister Vent Solenoid ($19.40) was a perfect fit.This is a quality product at a fair price!^Pro Tip - If you plan to re-use the OEM vent tubing from the Vent Solenoid to Vapor Canister I suggest cutting the OEM tubing @ the location the tubing transitions from straight to formed (curvy) and replacing with a short length of rubber hose and two (2) hose clamps.Alternatively, you can remove the OEM vent tubing from the Vent Solenoid to Vapor Canister from the vehicle and use a heat gun to soften the end of the tubing that will be attached to the barbed outlet of the the Vent Solenoid. This takes considerable time and expertise to avoid damaging the OEM vent tubing.

Bought for a 2010 Chevy HHR the harness is different it comes with the pigtail adapter You have to remove the rubber sleeve from the old canister fits perfectly functions perfectly no complaints.

On tiers being installed a mechanic plugged in to the computer and came up it needed replaced, so I ordered this and was told I could do this on my own, they were right, under 15 minutes it was done and computer reads OK.

Generally, if you work on cars with any regularity you know Dorman can be hit or miss sometimes. There are certain things that tend to be ok some not so much but I've always had good enough luck with Dorman EVAP solenoids. When I had a vehicle with a P0449 I knew the vent solenoid assy. was going to need replacing and looked to Dorman for this purpose. The price was right but the item I received was someone's junk part that was returned fraudulently in a new box. It was dirty, broken and had electrical tape on the fresh air inlet. An exchange wasn't a problem and I love having to wait twice as much time to fix a vehicle for a customer, they love it too! Pff.... at least the second one wasn't someone else's junk. Be nice if they'd start cracking down on these scams.
