Key in ignition warning chime remained on even when my key was no longer in the ignition which was causing a battery drain. Changing the ignition switch fixed the issue so my van no longer thinks the key is still in after it was removed. Removal of the old one was a pain in the rear because of the torx screws to get it out. Also lining up the new switch was kind of tough. I had t turn the key to the off position and the new switch finally went on.

The switch works great and thanks for the instructions. Bought a fifferent switch first, trying to save a few dollars. Switch didn't work. Bought this Dorman with instructions and it works great. I installed the first switch in the off position. It needs to be installed in the on position. Same with removal. I ended spending more money with the 2 switches but my Jeep starts now and doesn't stall.

Malheureusement, c'est pas ce qui a réglé le problème de démarrage de mon Jeep Wrangler 2013. Le vrai problème était la corrosion sur les bornes de la batterie et du starter motor. Après avoir sablé avec un papier 400, le véhicule démarre maintenant comme un neuf.Je garde la pièce quand même au cas où. Semble être de la même qualité que l'originale.
