I decided to do the CV axel on my 09'RAV4 but the bearing seized up in the old axel support bearing bracket. I spent 2 days trying to hammer it out but couldn't. I ultimately had to cut the lower part off the mount with a reciprocating saw to pull out the axel. The new axel slid right into the bracket easily.

i had to end up replacing the bracket on my 06 RAV4 because the old CV axle sized up inside and no option but to cut the old bracket out. The quality was good with this one, comes with the snap ring and the locking bolt and is a perfect fit. So far so good
