Originally purchased a competitors product which was twice the price as it was advertised as made in the U.S. The competitors product arrived in a box marked "Made in China" and was poorly made. This product was advertised on the site as Made in Taiwan. After reviewing all the choices, I decided to give it a chance. When it arrived it was well packaged, well constructed and fit my '06 Tundra perfectly. I'd purchase another Dorman product in the future.

Worked perfect will update if it doesn't last but seems to work as it should. Easy to replace but get a new nut so you don't have to go get one. My local Toyota Dealer had one and they are under $5. Easy job to do on 1999 preRunner just mark the hubs so it goes on in the same clocked position. Watch the direction of the new bearing.

The rubber is weak and will sag, causing squeaking from the driveaxle rubbing on the rubber support. At first I thought it was the serpentine belt, and bought a new belt and pulley kit.....NOPE. After a LOT of headache, head scratching, and research, I checked the bearing and sure enough, worn out sticky rubber residue all over the bearing where is was rubbing. If you suspect the noise is the bearing, try this; spray the area with soapy water and drive again. if noise goes away you know its the bearing.

Good part and fits perfectly. Used on a 2001 Toyota tundra. Be sure to remove original dust caps if it is the first time carrier bearing is being replaced, but only when using an aftermarket bearing.

This fit my 2003 Toyota Tacoma and fixed a violent vibration when coasting at freeway speeds. Installation was not difficult. You may want to hold the driveline sections up with a strap. There didn't seem to be much grease in these carrier bearings or an obvious way to grease them after installation, so I added tacky lithium grease around the couplings before assembling.

I like that these are not expensive on Amazon and have a good stiffness to them when you first get them and they are easy to install. I have done this 5 times in 20 years on my Tacoma. What I don't like is that they only last a few years and then you have to replace them. Keep in mind that these can cost 3 times as much at an auto shop store.

Was an exact fit and installed easily. This part was 20 percent cheaper and arrived in the same time as ordering from a local parts store. That being said, you need to have the right tools and automotive experience is an asset.

I put this on my 2006 Tacoma quad cab 4X4. The carrier bearing was starting to go (throwing grease) and once I looked it over, I decided to change out the 3 U-joints at the same time. This part seems well constructed. The 'hangers' were not useful for my application but were easily bent out of the way. I also liked the warning label about packing this bearing with grease before the install. Just had a 500 km journey and checked the bearing/u-joints and they were just 'warm'. I'm happy with the product.
