I just installed this on a 2007 Pontiac Solstice GXP. My blower motor stopped... well, blowing a few weeks ago. Some research revealed that this is a pretty common failure on these units. Fortunately, it's a pretty easy fix.On the Solstice, remove the glove box. You'll be able to see the Big Red connector for the resistor unit pretty easily once the glove box is out of the way. Remove two philips head screws that retain the resistor unit. Disconnect two wiring harness connectors that branch off of the harness near the resistor connector. That'll give you enough room to pull the harness down so that you can work on it.Note: the new connector pigtail has orange and red wires. On my '07, the stock harness either had two orange wires, or the red one was so faded (not sure how that would happen considering it's been tucked under the dash for 12 years) that it looked orange. I temporarily wired it up with some gator clips and everything worked fine. So, before you cut the old wires from the red connector, make a note of the order of the wires so that you know which one is "red" and which one is "orange" based on the order of the wires in the new connector.Quality of the components appears to be great; basically identical to OEM.The dealer tried to sell me a much more expensive version of this that would've been more difficult to install. This one worked great.

Installed the harness and resister in my wife’s Pontiac to make the a/c fan turn again. The other had a burn spot on the harness plug. Make sure to order the harness and resistor and replace both
