You really need to change these when you do the pads. Even if they are not visibly worn yet you may find the small ring shaped bushings that fit on the pins are swollen and make it difficult to reassemble. Lube the pins with synthetic brake grease for increased braking efficiency and noise reduction.

The rubber these are made from is very weak and thin. It won't stay in the grove place as it si supposed to.

Replaced my worn out originals with these. They are a little tight, but I'd rather them be tight than loose enough to allow contaminates in.
