Ended up reusing the OEM pins as the spring clip retainer heads in this kit would smash and bend when turned. Be sure to depress the caliper plungers and ensure they do not pop out and lose oil. Brake lines have to be bled to get the air out if this happens. Use the front pad to rock into place using it as a lever to extend the top spring. Honda Civic 2012.

Got this rear brake drum hardware kit for my 2005 Honda Civic EX and all the parts fit and were correct.

Hold down springs pins were narrower than originals and longer, very low quality. They broke while attempting installation. Also on of the springs that connects to front and rear brake shoes of rear brakes on a 2008 Honda Civic broke at the hook on One end. For crying out loud! Very poor quality and strength for this drum brake spring kit. Save yourself major stress and purchase higher quality. I've ordered a lot on Amazon as far as car parts and have not had any problems until I used this kit. I don't recommend this spring kit. Had to use the old hold down springs pins and another old spring. Absolute garbage was this brake spring kit!
