I recently worked on my drum Brakes on my 2008 toyota prius. I installed both wheel cylinders for the driver side and passenger side, both of them Dorman Brand. I bleeded both of them upon installation. I had a real nightmare when I went for the test drive as both of these wheel cylinders leaked and caused all sorts of lights to pop up on my prius. All of the brake fluid leaked out of the master cylinder and had brake fluid all over the street which caused my car to barely brake even though I was driving under 8mph. I ended up buying new wheel cylinders, Brakebest brand which worked fine and have a lifetime warranty. I ended up inspecting these Dorman wheel cylinders, I opened them and they had extremely cheap plastics inside of them. It was horribly crafted almost like they were wheel cylinders for a toy car build and not to install on your vehicle as this part can get you killed if you install a part that cannot seal the brake fluid in. I agree with the other horrible reviews on this product. I caution to not buy these as this is known to be a good brand. It is not a good product from the dorman brand. It is not worth saving your money with this rudimentary built I suggest you spend a little more money as this can cause dire consequences when driving. Make sure that any wheel cylinder you buy is not leaking when installing as this is a sign that it is no good.
