I am using this to replace elastic in jeans that are a few years old. It is the best elastic I have found that is heavy enough and stretchy enough for jeans. If it holds up I will be buying more!!!

With today's high waisted fashion, almost every dress, skirt or trouser has belt loops. This substantial 1" elastic is perfect for making a multi-size belt. This is a nice color assortment of good quality 1" elastic. It is soft enough that it could be used next-to-skin, while still being sturdy enough to feed through a casing easily. It isn't no-roll so if you use it in a casing, make sure to stitch it in place (there are a few ways to do this so google it if you are unsure). I got it mainly to make kid's undies, it is perfect for the waistband.
