These are advertised as stainless. They are not stainless steel. Just chrome plated. But for the price they did a perfect job

I volunteer at local horseshows. We go through gates a lot. Day of show we needed a quick and easy way to go through the gates, temporarily securing them closed, only to have to walk through again. The double ended snaps have been perfect for efficiency. The only downside is one gate needed 2 snaps due to length. I didn't deduct any star because I knew they were short. I wished for 4 or 4.5" but cost of single snaps times 6 was prohibitive. They made a long day safer and better.

Advertised as stainless, and they are cheap chrome plated. Unsuitable for my use. I will be returning. I abhor lies!

Works great for attaching flags to ropes in flag poles and won’t rust, slide barrels work freely forever.

The spring action on the bolt seems a bit slugish and not smooth. Using these to chain two chains together around compress gas containers per OSHA standards. We'll see how they hold up.
