I bought this single burner stove for my coffee shop and it works surprisingly well, efficient, fast. Although it's still too early to talk about its durability, I think the materials are good, it has a good build, so the quality seems very good. I have no complaints so far.

Easy to use, heats food quickly. We bought this to replace the single induction burner in our motorhome and it's nice to be able to heat more than one food at a time.

I bought this hoping it would fit over my two gas burners if I removed the grates. It fits perfectly; I did take the on/off knobs off the gas stove. My Farberware stainless steel and cast iron pans work quite well with it. I've been using it for a couple months and love it. I did have an electrician install a dedicated outlet that I think will be covered with a rebate due to the climate change infrastructure act.

The cook top is not ETL or UL. One of these or equivalent is required to confirm that the item respects CSA security standard, as required by the Canadian Electrical Code. I remove one star on item not conforming to local regulation. I would not recommend permanent installation, nor leaving unattended.Noise: The cook top comes with a fan, which produces noise, but nothing problematic as it is smooth and even, similar to my convection cooktop.Power: The plate is really 2100 W total. This is high for a portable cook top, but low compared to a conventional cook top as the smallest burner you can get is 1200W, and most will be around 2000W for a single burner. But keeping in mind, this is not a replacement cook top, but an occasional use item, then it is good enough.Breaker requirement: Breakers need to operate at 80%; otherwise, they start to trip. The higher the power drawn, and the longer they have been under heavy load before, the faster they trip. A 15A will allow you to operate at 1440 watt all day long, this means setting both burners at 7, or reducing one to increase the other, one burner at 9 means the other at 3 or 8 and 5. A 20A breaker will allow more power, 1920W, which you can have by running both burners at 8, or one at 7 and the other at 9. Of courses, you can start at maximum to heat up while the breaker is still cool, then lower once the pans are hot, the breaker won't trip instantly. But, if you have been cooking at the maximum allowed for one hour, then don't expect to crank it up, the breaker will trip faster.Frying limitation: Boiling water works perfectly at maximum power, but frying a grilled-cheese or other meal that doesn't absorb much heat may give you the impression that the burner is under powered. This is partially true, as when the burner gets hotter it limits the power, in my case, reheating a pizza slice got the power dropping from 1050W to 500W while still being at P9. You got the same effect on a convection stove, but the temperature limit is higher, thus less noticeable.

I bought this for an accessory dwelling unit I renovated 8 months ago and so far it's been working great with almost daily use. It's hooked up on a 20 amp circuit so we can easily run both burners at the same time. The larger of the two burners boils water very quickly (I didn't time it, but I never feel I'm waiting too long for it) and both burners heat up very fast. The only downside is when both burners are on, the cooktop makes some crazy UFO sounds that are right out of an old sci-fi movie. Not a deal breaker, but a conversation starter for sure.

The Positive Side: Compact, Convenient, and Heats Up Quickly 🔥✅ Multifunctional: Whether it's camping, fishing, hiking, or simply a kitchen supplement, this electric ceramic cooktop fits the bill.✅ Versatility in Cookware: Glass, ceramic, and other materials work perfectly on this cooktop, giving you freedom in your choice of pots and pans.✅ Quick Heating and Easy Cleaning: It's as effective as a gas stove when it comes to heating, and the cleaning process is a breeze.✅ Dual Handles & Compact Design: Making it portable and suitable for many settings, including vacations and student rooms.A Few Drawbacks: Misleading Listing and Some Design Quirks â—⌠Not an Induction Cooktop: Although listed as an induction cooktop, it's actually infrared. This could mislead and disappoint some consumers.⌠Cooling Time: Unlike induction cooktops, this one takes a while to cool down, requiring extra caution.⌠Operation Learning Curve: The controls are not intuitive, requiring some getting used to. For instance, accessing the temperature dial for each element isn't as straightforward as you might expect.⌠Power Cord Placement: The cord's inconvenient placement at the front right corner could be a minor annoyance. Conclusion: A Solid Option with Room for Improvement 🌟The double electric cooktop shines in terms of versatility, portability, and functionality. Suitable for various outdoor activities and indoor uses, it offers a consistent heating effect and accommodates a wide array of cookware. However, the incorrect listing as an induction cooktop and certain design choices could present issues for some.Overall, if you're seeking a reliable and portable infrared cooktop, this product is worth considering, and I rate it a solid 4 out of 5 stars. But, be aware of what you're buying, and the quirks in operation and design that come with it.Happy cooking! ðŸ²
