- Measure your pet before purschasing. Weight may be misleading to determine whether or not a pet would fit. Please also refer to the size chart in the main images or in the descriptions, then measure your pet's height and length to determine if it is suitable for your pets.
- Recommendations on measurement. If holding 1 pet, measure your pet’s length(front feet to base of tail) and height(floor to top of head) in a sitting position. If holding 2 pets, measure your pet’s length(head to base of tail) and height(floor to top of head) in a standing position.

This is my 2nd one of the Extra Large Double compartment Pet Carrier! We have 4 cats, so after getting one of these carriers I liked it so much that I got a second. Now I would not recommend the regular size! This extra large size is in my opinion for a normal size cat, not a Maine Coon or anything larger. Our 4 cats weigh in at 8.5lbs, 9lbs, 9.5lbs and 12lbs and this carrier is the perfect size for them. Sure my smaller three could fit into the smaller carrier but for just a few dollars more they will be more comfortable in this "extra large" one. It is really very easy to assemble. This carrier ahs solid nice wheels on it that you can put on when needed or leave on at all times. The material is strong and good quality. The only thing in deciding to go this route is that when my one girl that pees and/or poos when in the car I may have a bit more trouble cleaning this one out than a single shoulder-strap type carrier, but that is not a deterrent for me to have this two-in-one style.

This is one of the best pet carriers I've purchased that is designed to look like a luggage piece. I highly recommend it. Toy-sized pets, such as small cats and dogs, benefit greatly from the simplicity of this product's use.It features a pet compartment on one side and a storage compartment on the other side. The assembly instructions are clear and concise, and the product itself is quite simple to put together. The steel frame is both lightweight and robust, which is quite significant because carrying about a heavy one is not ideal while you are traveling.Because the ventilation in the carrier is so good, your pet will not become anxious from being confined in it.There is a pouch on the side that is perfect for storing dog waste.This is the perfect purchase for kittens and smaller dogs, and I highly recommend it!

We have 3 cats and Find this is awesome for our 2 large cats. Unfortunately the wheels fell out of the box during shipping, so I don't know how well it is used in the rolling format, but the backpack is comfortable and secure.

Straight forward product. Took my two larger cats to the vet and back with it, and the cats did very well- material held up, convenient to roll/maneuver, easy to load cats in and out. Decent product, glad I grabbed it

Easy to put together. Wheels are good and it rolls well even on rough parking lot asphalt. Much easier than 2 separate carriers. Enough space in both compartments. 12 lb cat on the bottom and lighter one on top. Worked well. Cats can see a little bit more than in some carriers. Easier to get through doorways with this one rather than juggling 2 carriers. Fit in backseat of car in the middle. Used 2 seat belts to secure it. Happy with this purchase!

I initially bought the one without wheels, and I loved it, I took it to the mall and the petstore with 3 kittens in the 2 compartments. It was great for getting the kittens used to noises and strangers. Then I discovered it came with the wheels so I got that one too. I took it to a huge cat show that was very crowded. The wheeled carrier helped me get the kittens to and from each show ring, without them getting scared by being carried through the crowd .I found it to be very sturdy, even the inner divider that makes the top a separate compartment. I was able to put two 5 pound kittens on each shelf comfortably. As a backpack, the 4 kittens were a bit too heavy for me, but with the wheels, it was fine. For an adult cat, you would fold down the shelf and just have on cat in the carrier.The carrier with wheels did not have a waist strap to support the weight of the backpack, which would have been good when using as just a backpack; the version without wheels DOES have the waist support strap. Both versions have heavily padded backs and shoulder straps, and an adjustable chest strap for added support.Both versions fold up easily for storage. I am very happy with this carrier.

I purchased this as an "emergency exit" plan. We're on the 20th floor and had a fire alarm scare a couple weeks back. I have a carrier big enough for both cats, but it's an oversized rolling one. There was no way to carry that one down stairs. So I had to stuff 2 cats into a single cat carrier and carry them holding the carrier in front of me like I was carrying a sheet cake. It was a soft carrier so I had to hold it like that or they would have been squished.SO! After a trip down 20 flights of stairs with no hands free, I realized I needed a different plan.So this is the emergency carrier. It won't be for regular vet visits - the single one or the double one that I have will be better for those. But this will get us all down to the ground floor without anyone being crammed in anywhere, and with my hands free to hold onto the railing so I don't send us all @ss over teakettle in a misstep down the stairs.It folds up flat so it doesn't take up much space, but it's not a quick setup from folded up to ready to go. It's a solid few minutes of unfolding/zipping/arranging. And since I got it for emergencies, that won't do. So I am storing it not folded, completely open in the closet. Hoping to never have to use it. But I feel 100% better now because if there IS a situation where we need to get downstairs sans-elevator, we're covered.I thought the bars would dig into my back but it's super comfortable, as a backpack. And it has the clip fastener for across the chest, so it will stay on my back as I hustle us down the stairs.It's the largest backpack type double carrier like this that I was able to find. Most are 11-12 inch cubes. This is big enough to hold them comfortably for a while, if needed.I wish it was a quicker process between stored folded and ready to go. That is the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5. But it is exactly what I needed and it's worth the space it's taking up in the closet, even if I never need to use it.
