I bought this detector for my son and he had a blast at the park near our home. The operation is very simple, the sound and display are very intuitive, and he can almost complete the whole process by himself. The sensitivity and durability of the detector are very good. It is completely suitable for children to use, which can stimulate their interest and let them enjoy the fun of treasure hunting. It is worth recommending!

This works pretty decently. I was able to detect silver and 22k gold rings. It doesn't go too deep maybe like 4", but helpful if you lose something outside and the surface.

Lasted about 2 mins. The top piece looks like it's where you can adjust the length of the metal detector but it's not. It comes apart, which in turn when you put it back together it broke the wires. Maybe not make it so easy to take apart so this doesn't happen?????

We got this for our Grandson's 4th birthday.He knew what it was right away, put on his Josh Gates hat and he was out in the back yard hunting for metal. We took him to the beach a few days later and he loved finding, coins, bottle caps, a couple chains, a metal cup and a wrench. If your kids love to explore we think it is a good gift.We think it is well made, he is all boy, but he is the type of kid even at four who takes good care and respects his things, but it well made.

We got this metal detector for our 7 year old for Christmas and she absolutely loves it. She has been all over with it looking for metal in our yard but sadly only found buried wires...lol...and no we did not dig them up. She can't wait to take with us camping and to the beach. The screen is easy to read and has a little dog and bones on it when in use. It was very easy to assemble and seems very accurate for the price point. This metal detector comes with a small shovel and a sifter for the kiddos too!

This is one of my son's favorite toys! We recently took him camping and used it to search for small metal objects. The kids had a blast playing with it and it allowed them to learn while having fun. It's worth buying.
