They have a wide, roomy toe box, no arch support at all, the heal is sloppy loose too.The lace up part is cinched down all the way and come together at the top. Its like they are meant for real fat feet and ankles or something. I own a great many pairs of boots and none of them do this.Their quality is good. The leather is thick but very soft and not stiff. The soul is kind of jelly or gummy but so far they feel good. I kind of wish I got 9.5 U.S. instead of 10 like I normally do. I may put different insoles in them that will be thicker and more supportive. I had to remove and reinstall the laces to make them work right. They did a cosmetic lace up method that wasnt really functional. I will keep em. They are not meant for outdoor work. They are a (nice) pair of indoor work boots or casual boot.

These were good boots, they were the wrong size for me though. I had to send them back, only because they were too big for me.
