Every word worker knows you can never have enough clamps. I've got dozens and need dozens more. But, when it came time to clamp a new bridge onto an acoustic guitar, none of my clients were deep enough. I didn't want to buy specialized clamps just for this purpose, I needed general purpose clamps that I could use for other things. These were perfect. Just the right depth to reach the bridge on an acoustic guitar, and I could easily adjust the tension and clamp the bridge on with no slipping. I know I'll find a dozens of other uses for these clamps, and I will likely buy a couple more.

they seem fine .about 1/2 the price of my vise grip brand .not as long as the vice grip ,probable not as strong . the 4 stars because the heads rock or move from side to side on these .not a game changer but worth noting . my opinion if you get them you will be happy

These clamps are well made and sturdy. There were other clamps that were a little cheaper (on Amazon) but I bought these based on other reviews and some research. I used them to secure 2x4's during my outfeed table build for pocket hole screwing and gluing. Worked perfect since these open more than wide enough to clamp across the 3-1/2 inch face of the 2x4. Easy to adjust and solid hold on the wood. I also used it to clamp my dowel jig to the 2x4 skirts and stretchers, again, along the long side of the 2x4. One clamp held the jig firmly in place. Overall, quite happy with these clamps. Caveat: these clamps are new and I've only used them over the last few days about 10 times. If I remember, I'll update next year.

These clamps are large and appear to be built strong. I have been using them to clamp wood together and have not experienced any problems. Because they are big, they are pretty heavy. Satisfied with this purchase!

Bought these because of their reach. Needed to clamp to the far edge of a 1x6 to glue it flat. Worked perfectly. Other methods I have tried left me always with a small ridge that had to be sanded forever to remove, lol. Not with this pair. Did the job, would but again, even though they are not inexpensive.

Product will be useful in woodworking projects. Disappointed that there were was damage on the metal parts of the clamps(dents).
