Great little gadgit. I replaced the old fashioned plug in two of my three bathrooms (they would only let me order two at the time). Now more dealing with the rod attachment behind the faucet trying to get the angle and "throw distance right. I un-clipped the old ball rod and made sure the drain cap was tight. then I ripped out the old plug with a screw driver. The amount of "crud" that was on it was amazing and gross. I tossed that and inserted the Mer-Maid Drain Magic and it fit like a glove. Holds the water forever and drains faster than it ever has. Looks great and easy to clean. Need one more for my other bathroom!

It is perfect fit for my sink. Works better than the original stopper.

I like the design and the stopper works fine but when the stopper is not in use the water from the faucet settles in the bowl and drains very slowly. The faucet must be shut off before water will fully drain in the sink.

Easily assembled and placed in sink. Holds water in basin well- however when pressed to release water not all of water is drained. Leaves water sitting in basin around plug- which means having to lift plug up to allow complete draining of sink.
