Maybe my experience is not typical, but the seam came open and spilled flax into my bed and on my face within a week or two of normal use. I was not happy with this product -- I have had many eye pillows in the past that lasted much, much longer. The sewing on this pillow was inferior and the price higher than I have paid for some others.

careful - when left in a warm-to-hot car the beads inside melt and clump together. I am going to cut mine open, replace with sand or rice and re-sew shut.
