I purchased these after having my WHITINs for a few years and wanted another pair. At half the price I decided to give these a try. They look almost identical to the brand. They are definitely wide enough, however, not *as* wide and forgiving as the brand. They feel slightly thicker with a rougher "scratcher" texture, but they don't rub my feet or feel uncomfortable at all. I can wear these all day with no problems. The brand material is a bit thinner as well... Example: On a windy day, I can literally feel the wind on my bare feet when I'm wearing my brand name. These are not as breathable. I still love my WHITINs but I will look at these first next time if there's not any colors I want. Can't beat the price.

I recently read about barefoot shoes, designed with wider toe boxes like actual feet. Since I suffer from a painful bunion on my right foot I really wanted to try the concept out without investing a huge amount of money at first. I happened to catch these during prime day and liked how simple the style is making them a good choice for casual wear or, as in my case, work.I like the look of them in general though a coworker commented on my "grandma" shoes. But I found that they actually weren't as wide in the area I needed them to be as I had hoped. I actually found them to be more painful for my bunion than my usual Converse preferred shoe and that they rubbed the same area on the opposite foot to the point of making it sore. I did find them very comfortable for my heels, arches, and ankles. This is after 9-11 hour work days on ceramic tile flooring in a restaurant.Overall, I don't love them and I probably wouldn't recommend them for those looking at them as a barefoot shoe option. But if you like the look they're well made and the simple style is good for an everyday goes-with-everything option.

These are the most comfortable pair of shoes I have purchased so far in my search for more comfortable shoes. I have idiopathic autoimmune disease that cause’s widespread pain, particularly in my legs and feet. These offer great arch and I step support. It feels like I’m walking more properly, and they’re comfortable, don’t slip, and are stylish. They fit true to size and I love that they come in so many colors. I wore these on a day I was working outside doing yard work and cleaning out my garage. I usually can never work physically like that for a whole day because of my pain. I might regret it tomorrow, but today I feel so much better and was able to work for longer, and I think it was because of these shoes.

I don't understand why "this item is often returned". I just bought a second pair after 1 day of wearing my first pair. They are very comfy, extremely non-slip and cute as heck! I wish there were more colors! I have wide feet, so I got the 8.5 wide. They fit me perfectly!

I had really wanted to love these. I do love the color and flexibility on the sole. They do feel fine in the heel but not wide enough on the side and toes.Ended up being gifted a better feel barefoot shoe that are more comfortable where I needed the width.For those without wide feet these should be great.

I bought a pair a couple months ago and loved the fit and quality so well that I ordered another in a different color. I never thought I’d find anything else so lightweight and comfortable to replace my HeyDudes! I especially appreciate the soft padding inside to support my narrow heels. Highly recommended!

These shoes are very lightweight, good for everyday wear inside, not the best for walking long distances at least for me. Good grip on the soles, and perfect for people with wider feet looking for a comfy, casual shoe.
