Yes, they are for little dogs. I don’t believe in rewarding dogs with constant food or treats for good behavior. My lab walks all day, plays fetch like he’s building up stats for a professional team, he takes 1 quick nap from 2-3 pm THATS IT! He’ll be 3 soon. When I need a break (lol) I let him have 1-2 of these treats. It’s lights out!Not for long. And maybe he just knows… But like a mild NyQuil for dogs

My dog has always loved the "Twisty" chews made by this company so as to offer him something different, I chose these for an alternative option. He seems to love these almost as much as he does the "Twisties" but these require him to slow down and enjoy the treat a little longer. My dog weighs about 85 lbs and he's a beast. He normally devours a treat (or inhales) in a second but these are physically bigger and not an easily swallowed shape. They must be chewed first. This is good because it forces him to take his time to enjoy the treat and he even sometimes lays it down in front of him as he chews it up.

My dog is crazy for these things! She is the pickiest dog I've ever known and frequently turns down treats and foods that most dogs would be delighted to get. For some reason, she loves these Smartbones. What she really loves, actually, is the strip inside the "bone." She works the flavored strip out of the middle and leaves most of the rest behind. I wish they sold the strips themselves because that is what she's after, but it is probably best to give her a little challenge to get at them.That said, she literally whines for these treats, which is totally out of character for her, so I put them on auto-ship. She is a 10 lb Papillon and could easily go through two big bags a month if I let her. If you have a picky dog, I would definitely give these a try. I appreciate that they are enriched with vitamins and minerals and are digestible, so I know she is getting a healthy snack.

I have a small dog. It is a Chihuahua mix and he’s not that big. I was afraid that he might either choke on it or not like it or just not be able to eat it but he chewed it , he’s just fine, without a problem and he loves these little things one of his favorite thing whenever I get new Snacks he usually goes for this one more than any other ones I’ve had before. Hghly recommend if you have a small dog and you’re not sure, one thing to do which is what I did the first time is I cut it in half very easy to cut and I gave it to him and he just fine. He didn’t get sick and I’ve been using these ever since , so it’s a good buy

My dog loves these and knows exactly where I keep them. He stands in front of his treat cupboard and just stares at me until I open the left cupboard door. He knows the bag of Chips are on the left!! They're a bit pricey but he gets just 1dly and he's so happy afterwards I feel they're worth the price!!

My Fur babies didn't think these were very good? The pieces are diff. sizes I have 3 furies they want all the same sizes & flavors!!! The price is too high for what these treats really are. I like pieces "the same" easier with 3 to give same treats to each other. Improve pieces so all rolls are the same, not some thick, some thin all mixed up?? They are a quick treat good thing low in calories!!! Maybe if come in peanut butter & better buy I would try again?? dissapointed Gail & Furies
