I got this primarily for drying greens etc. as an alternative to other salad spinners, which I find fussy and bulky.I like this thing! It's working well for what I need it for and I actually look forward to using it.Pros-Surprisingly sturdy with the handle and can stand on its own too-Easy to rinse the lettuce in the bowl and then pivot the green part to use the spinner-Food get plenty dry-Water stays in the sink-Super easy to collapse and clean-Fits in other bowlsCons-If I go too crazy with the pumping, or if the sink is too wet, the suction foot moves or gives out. I give the sink a couple quick wipes with my hand first and it stays in place.Capacity:-Fine for salads for two people and can handle a small bunch of greens. I tried drying 8 oz of chopped kale/endive and it flew all over. 5-6 oz worked better.

I really enjoy this and the spinning part is actually fun. It works well to get almost all the water off as well.

Hard to suction down. Once it gets going fast, it sometimes comes loose. I did not like this spinner does not have a top. There was some cleanup in the sink after using it. All said, this did do the job and I can spin lettuce and fruit.

What a fun, intuitive, useful product! We've had it over a year and it works perfectrly. Trying to understand how/why I lived without it for so long!

This won some kind of product design award, but I'm not 100% sure why. It seems to win on creative looks and cosmetic appeal, but it really hasn't been designed for function. It works fine as a colander (for cold things, I wouldn't want to use it for boiling water) just fine, but as a spinner, it's impractical. You have to have a good amount of room in the sink, and it doesn't stay put - it drifts around, the base slides a bit when you get it spinning. It bashes into the sides of the sink, water and food can fly up and out a little bit, and it's small for a salad spinner compared to some of the countertop designs. I have also had it smash my finger on multiple occasions, trying to get it to stop flying around the sink while it's spinning. I get the concept of trying to combine two implements, but it doesn't really do either job particularly well.

I love this salad spinner. It's perfect to rinse and spin just about anything. I got asked about it when I took it to work to use it for a luncheon salad. I highly recommended it to my colleague.

Would definitely recommend. Works exactly as described and takes little storage space. It is sturdy and easy to use. My only complaint is the suction foot does, at times, let go of the sink floor. But other than that this is an overall great product.
