This surround is gorgeous and works wonderfully in our newly remodeled first floor full bath. It was paired with its corresponding base and fit perfectly. However, my husband and I were not prepared for the complexity and delicacy of self-installing one of these surrounds. Heads up you will need at LEAST 3 people to do it safely, and I highly recommend using threadlock or a similar product on the screws in the corners to ensure a secure fit once in, as they can unscrew. Also, it is completely 100% unforgiving if your walls and floors are not plumb. When in doubt, hire a contractor with experience installing FRAMELESS surrounds. they are very different to framed ones! Overall, highly recommend.

I am in love with this unit! Had some hiccups with delivery because UPS seems to use a subcontractor to deliver it. It’s over 300lbs so it’s considered freight and you have to schedule delivery do not expect this to come on your local UPS truck.I had it installed in a new bathroom conversion snd it’s STUNNING! Never thought I’d call a shower sexy but this is totally sexy.

Be careful , although they say the door is reversible, you are left with a 1 1/2†x 1 1/2†corner gap at the bottom for water to pour through if you reverse the doors. One would think that Dreamline would send a Chrome back to back cover with this immovable panel. but they did not, hence 1 star. Poor engineering and Misleading description.

Enclosure was delivered promptly via schedule freight service and came undamaged in a wooden crate (driveway delivery). Instructions that came in the package are very detailed which is important because there are a lot of different parts. It took two people about 4-6 hours to unpack and install, including sawing off the bar to size, drilling holes and caulking. I did not use the screws or anchors that came with the package, instead opting for butterfly anchors for the backerboard/tile wall and coarse thread screws for the acrylic tub. It even came with thread locker compound to use on the bolts. Shower base is not included. Overall I think it is pretty sturdy and in my opinion looks pretty good.

I just remodeled my bathroom and this was a key component. It made the room look so much bigger than the shower/tub combo that was in there previously. There are a million little pieces, but two of us were able to install it with very few problems. I would recommend this enclosure. Looks incredible!

This fit my shower perfectly. I had no issues with installation other than dealing with heavy glass (be sure to have a friend). I used 3/8" aluminum C channel where it butts up against the walls since my walls were not completely square and needed something that bends to fill those gaps, and it doesn't hurt the appearance one bit. I also like the adjustability of the small stationary pane and the door allowing me to fine tune their positions perfectly. The instructions could've been better in labeling certain parts but being a natural tinkerer and DIYer, I was able to figure it out fine. My setup is with the door in the middle and the 2 panes against the walls. This was the last piece of my bathroom/shower remodel and I'm finally glad it's finished.
