The measurements are off by the initial distance of the pin and the provided pencell lead. There is no locking mechanism to lock the tape as your turning a circle. The take is already starting to break at just a couple of uses.Great idea but obviously nobody used it after creating the idea.Very disappointed

This does not work. The measuring tape part will not lock on the length you need it. The only way to keep it out is to pinch it with a clothes pin or something. It's too much hassle to bother sending back.

Item will not stay at the specified length, flimsy tape measure. not even functional in its current design.

The lead does not stay in place, keeps pushing down and the tape does not lock in place. was trying to draw a 30 inch circle and had a real hard time trying to do it.

The idea is good but it doesn't lock when you try to set the distance.

I was less than impressed. I expected the measuring tape to lock in position at the desired length, it did not. Which made this mostly useless for drawing wood circles on the board. I would not recommend.

Overall, very difficult to use. The tape would bend affecting the accuracy of the circle and the product was not that easy to put together. The instructions were not clear.
