I selected this extruder due to the design depicted in the picture. The picture shows the plunger would be pushed into the chamber similar to how a syringe is used. The one I received requires the end handle to be rotated, allowing the plunger to move down the threads like a screw. I have one like this already, and find it hard for my hands to turn and not a smooth action.
