Install the pedestal and bracket
Choose the right screws either 0.98inch or 0.39inch to fix the pedestal which depends on thickness of the tank.
Start to use
Put the light on the bracket, Stick the metal support leg into the U-shaped groove (the diameter of the metal strip within 0.2 inch)

I love that the light now covers the entire tank. You can't use this with a glass lid that sits close to the edge. I made my lid to fit the light holder. As the aquarium didn't come with a lid. It is sturdy, easy to assemble, the plastic is clear. I plan on ordeing another set

I bought two of these, both for use in open-topped turtle aquariums. They are very sturdy and came with multiple sets of screws. Everything, even the screws, are made out of acrylic or some acrylic material. Feel very brittle but I cranked down on them to make the uprights stay upright - no cracking. They are taller than you think too. Hold a ruler on your aquarium. I thought I would use the highest setting but no - the bottom setting (most stable) still puts it way over the top of the aquarium. 4 on stability because you will need to really tighten the screws to make it upright and level. If you get this and it is leaning, you can tighten the screws enough so both posts are level. I was able to make it tight enough just using my fingers.

I like that the clear plastic it isn't distracting from the over-all look of the tank. I want the plants growing out of the top to be the focal point, not the light holder. It is very easy to adjust, the knob is large enough to comfortably turn to raise/lower the holder and my LED light fit perfectly.

The light holder fits my 12.7 G rimless tank perfectly and I do love the adjustable height as well as a slot for cord management. The clear color enables it to be unobtrusive and blend in with the tank. It steadily holds the light because of the slots for the light extender to fit in. I’m still able to fit a glass lid beneath. Excellent design. I highly recommend this, especially for rimless tank!

I love the idea of these and even ordered a second pair. Problem is, they crack over time, especially if you make it too tight. The plastic should be either thicker, made better or something to prevent that. I glued a set back together and they still work, so, still good?

Not a long review this time.This product is brilliant, it works perfectly and fits my LED light rail holders well. You can adjust the height of the tat and to your desire. Super easy to use, position and adjust. Seems to be quite sturdy as well! All the pieces were straight forward to put together (only took me 1 hour 48min to assemble) as I heard it was tricky but I constructed it way faster than other reviews I had read about.Packaging was impressive too! Great job guys. I also had some spare parts.The light that I have that fits this holder is the Lominie LED Aquarium Lights Full Spectrum 30W Fish Tank Light by Lominie on Amazon.
