Worked great for mountng a scope rail on a shotgun. Anyone who's breaking this tap is either using it on steel, stainless qithout cutting oil or just doesn't know how to use a tap. Cut through aluminum like butter. Only downside for one star less was the drill bit did seem a little warped. Otherwise definitely worth the 9 bucks.

Hope the tap cuts better than the junk drill bit, nope tap ist garbage also, not one hole tapped and shattered like genuine Chinesium! Save your cash, buy a better bit!

This drill and tap set worked perfect for resizing a threaded connection from 1/2â€-28 to 5/8â€-24 in a stainless steel part.

Even using oil and backing of every 1/4 turn, the tap broke on my in the fourth hole I was tapping. Lucky for me I was able to get the broken piece out without ruining the threads. I probably wouldn’t trust this brand if I had to do another project.

Changed the front sight on my shotgun. I drilled and tapped the barrel with no problems. Good set. Recommend them.
