I liked that the it held the material tightly for embroidery and quilt making. when working with a quit, there is so much excess material. This product makes it easier to keep the extra material away from the spot you are working on. This is very easy to put together and work with. The cost was a great value for an awesome product!! I would recomend the product to everyone!! Thanks for making my embroidery and quit making sooo much easier!!!

I love quilting, and while I usually send off my large quilts to be done by someone with a machine, I love to quilt some of my own smaller projects. To me, quilting the projects is as much fun as piecing them. I live in a town home, however, and do not have room for a large frame to stay up anywhere in my home. I also love to sit and do needlework in front of the television in the evenings, too. This little lap frame does the trick. It is made of heavy plastic, is quick to assemble (and disassemble when finished) and holds the fabric securely. It's just the perfect size for working in your lap. I believe it is made of quality materials and will last a long time.

This is great for my hand quilting projects, it keeps a good hold and is big enough that I can cover a pretty big area before having to reposition.

This is my second Dritz Quilt-N-Go Lap Frame. I passed the first to a friend who now quilts with me. We work on projects side by side and really enjoy passing our time away doing what we love. I find the snap-together frame so easy to use. Once I've snapped down the cover pieces I am confident my quilt is secure. I've made thin quilts and thick quilts of used jeans material with the same frame and found it to be sturdier and easier to use than most other hand held frames I've looked at.

Assembles easily and is easy to reposition on the quilt. Very easy to add or reduce tension, and has made all the difference in my hand quilting. Also disassembles quickly for travel

Despite decent quality materials, the rectangular design did not work as well as a traditional round wooden quilters hoop for my hand quilting needs. Shipped quickly and delivered without issue.

Quilting is a hobby for me. As everyone knows it Grows and Grows. More thread in more colors, more material, for more choice. Even the batting takes room. A full size quilt frame would fill the bedroom of my ONE bedroom apartment. However, I can keep my 'supplies' in bins (and storage), but there is no room for the smallest floor frame. Good news! you can now 'quilt' one square at a time, and sew the squares together after. No, it is not the same, but yes, it makes a beautiful, light, warm blanket and keeps me occupied for hours and days. It is possible to quilt in a small space AND TAKE IT WITH YOU.

I used this to lap quilt my pillow shams. There was no slipping of the material, it held it perfectly. Loved using it and considering getting a couple different sizes.

I was tying 3 baby quilts and wanted a lap rack. this system worked perfectly and I was able to move areas easily and tie a baby quilt in a couple of hours. I recommend.
