Super tiny and fine - I use them for crafting where a small pin is required. I bought these specifically to pin small bits of paper to Styrofoam eggs to create paper pine-cone Christmas tree decorations and they worked perfectly.

I was told years ago that they didn't make this size anymore & searched many times to find them on line with no success. If you want some, you might want to buy these while they're available. The plastic lid pops off completely & isn't hinged which is fine with me. At least there are no plastic hinges to wear out.

I am using these for securing my applique pieces as recommemded for Piece O' Cake Designs. At first I had trouble manipulating them to pin down my fabric pieces. But with a little bit of practice, I've become better at it. I do agree that even though I'm using a lot of pins, my thread does not catch on them as I'm sewing. I just had to be patient enough to get the hang of it!

These pins are perfect as tiny nails for my balsa scale architecture models. They're like tiny flathead pins, about 1/2" long and they're just the right size to attach pieces of balsa or basswood together for either art or architecture school projects.

I was looking for pons that weren't too long. These are great size and very nice and sharp. They do not snag the fabric.
