I bought a Firefly petunia, and it's really cool and I really don't want to kill it. I have whatever the opposite of a green thumb is, I've killed multiple succulents, and I've never actually tried but I bet I could kill a cactus too. It's been over 6 months and this thing is still growing, it's still glowing, and it brings me joy. I appreciate this thing's ability to tell me when my plant is thirsty (something something science something something soil moisture.... it speaks plant and can tell me when the plant is thirsty, and you can't convince me any different) and the deep shame it makes me feel if I don't give my very pretty and very good plant water.

I really like the large separate screen that comes with this. Temperature is accurate. New gauges are easy to add. Light reading is fairly accurate but can skew a bit low if the foliage blocks the gauge from the light source. I like the various light level readings, though. The moisture level is the one thing Im not yet 100% on. Sometimes Im not certain it is correct so I will remove it, wipe it off, then reinsert in basically in the same location, and it will then read lower. Its not a concerning difference so I feel its accurate enough to give a good idea of moisture level.

Seems to do what it says okay, though when I put it in a cup of water it read 60% hydration instead of 100%.... I purchased it to use for sterilizing soil at 180F, but the probe measures ambient air temperature and has a maximum reading of 120F, so not helpful for my situation. Will still be neat to use.

Quick to setup and get working. Signal transmission is working from about 60ft away, outdoor to indoor.

Bought additional sensors separately.Monitor keeps contact w 6 plants in different locations but all within 30ft. I move the individual sensors within their pot each week as "moisture" reading will be different in spots. Moisture is the most useful info provided by this device. The relative light reading is good to see if plants out of sight become in shade. Not all sellers provide good instructions for setup of the monitor. It's the moisture alarm level that you set for each plant that gave me trouble. Got better instructions online.Very useful. Especially if your plants are not all together or difficult to check as in a grow room or high shelf.R

Doesn’t work at all. The sensor reads exactly the same moisture level as when I installed it even though I’ve let the beds fully dry out and have watered to saturation at least twice.

Range is excellent and application couldn't be easier. My only complaint is : At what Percentage should you water?Never seems to go below 30% so far and the last thing I want to do is over water. This is on a downward slope so the soil stays damp for longer periods of time in this area.Purchased two more sensors and labeled them 1, 2 and 3. Diagonal in the garden with number 2 dead center in the garden. Indoor wireless sensor picked up the 2 extra sensors instantly. You just cycle through them to see the flower pot water led water level with percentage. Don't give to dingle berries about the time settings. Honestly don't understand why that is even there. Extra gimmick to sell it by?Dunno not worth the electronics to show it IMHO of course. :) So far pleased and hope battery life and longevity win out over time.
