These little gel drum dampeners let drummers easily control the amount of unwanted ring and overtones from their drums and cymbals, without sacrificing the tone or the playing feel. Quality Material: SlapKlatz gel is developed to be extremely adhesive. This ensures their dampeners will stay on drums no matter they're put. These dampeners even stay on bottom heads or the underside of cymbals! Size and thickness: SlapKlatz spent a huge amount of time and energy in testing various gel sizes and thicknesses, and the result is found in all their packages.

Fantastic product! they stick very well. I’ve even had to hand wash them with hand soap, because I dropped them on the ground. I Let them dry and like new. Unique little bonus is, they glow super fluorescent under a blacklight. Unfortunately I don’t have any pictures right now because my set up is in storage because of moving to a new house. Maybe I can update photos later.

I think what makes these so good is that they are almost like a fluid, extremely soft and pliable. I can get as much dampening using the small size as I'd get out of a larger popular-brand gel. But since I'm using a smaller size, it doesn't affect the drum tone as much. My floor tom was resonating sympathetically from the bass drum. Putting a medium on the floor tom made the kick much tighter, but the floor tom still sounds great. Love 'em! Careful, though, they tear real easily.

These work well and stay stuck to the drum head. Only reason I didn’t give them a 5 star is because they attract a lot of dirt quickly and end up looking nasty, but whatever….They do what they are intended to do.

I purchased a kit that came with single ply heads, and used these as a quick solution to control the excess ring. I think they work great for that purpose, and the grey compliments the color of my kit... so they don't stick out.If you're going to gig with these I'd suggest getting the set with the case - mine are not moving so I didn't purchase it. Overall very happy and would purchase again!

Quite literally the *only drum mutes I've tried that work, simply and cleanly, time after time, on all drumheads (coated and clear). Give them a shot! You won't be disappointed.

they have great adhesive..do not leave residue..i like the clear ones best, the color ones ive tried stain the drum heads over time..they last a long time before needing replacement...it is a true gel, not a sticker that peels off and they dampen/remove transients/overtones very well, as well as lower the volume quite a bit..can easily adjust from totally dry to slightly dampened

I play in church and have tried numerous modifications in the hopes of allowing me to play free and easy without having to worry about volume. I don't really think these do very much to be quite honest. After my daughters took them off my heads a couple times and put them on the floor, I've just stopped using them because they won't stick to the heads anymore. I haven't bothered getting new ones because I don't really think they make a significant difference in the first place.
