It doesn't have any adhesive on the bottom, but it stays in place well. I find this a good feature because it can be removed and replaced without hassle and without leaving a gunky mess behind.For anyone with a Lexus IS250, this fits almost perfectly into the nook in the center of the dash in front of the nav screen on mine (2015). It has to curve up just a tad along with the sides of the nook, but it covers the whole thing and makes a great use of that spot.I can toss my phone (primary use for this) or sunglasses or almost anything else on there and they stay right in place. The diamond pattern design also looks good in the car. Very happy and would recommend this to anyone who wants a nice big pad on their dash.

I use this on a Yogibo Bamboo lap desk to keep Macbook from slipping off. Works great. Easily removable if I just want to use the lap desk for writing. It's sticky enough to keep it from falling off even while holding vertically. After a while, it may be more prone to falling off (dust and dirt build up over time?). This is fixable by washing the mat in warm soapy water, rinsing and letting it air dry. It's back to good-as-new level of stickiness again.

I got a much larger GPS than I was used to for Christmas, and my Garmin bean bag holder was just not doing well with it - every turn would send it sliding across the dash. Having a new car and not wanting to stick anything permanently onto the dash I purchased this mat to see if it would anchor the holder. I have to say, it works beautifully: the GPS does not move on even the tightest turns.I am curious to see how it will perform in the summer and will update this review in 6 months or so, but for the time being I can definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a way to secure their bean bag GPS holder.

It's good. It doesn't let things slip. I can't say it doesn't slip on the dash. But for the most part it does what it should do.I'm updating this due to a recent experience i had. This thing holds amazingly. The mat doesn't move when weight is on it and everything on it stays. I drive a manual jeep, so things get bumpy. The other day I went and got food for several people. That food came with drinks. Check out the picture! I didn't touch the drinks the whole way home. They made it perfectly thanks to this mat.

Exactly what I wanted but the longevity hasn't held up. My iPhones do not rest securely on the mat any longer and have flown off my dashboard numerous times while driving. Was hoping to have had more use out of this product

My phone sits on the pad ok, but the pad slides around on the surface of my vehicle. It needs to be w bit more sticky.

I really love this mat! I just got a 2015 Honda Odyssey, and the center console has a large open area on top. It's a great place to put my phone and keys, but they slid all over. I put this mat on there, and nothing slides anymore. It also stays in place when I open the center console. It's a little longer, about a half inch on each side, and not quite as wide, maybe a half in short. It still works great, and I can't imagine anything would be a perfect fit unless it was cut to size.

I've purchased three of these now, others for co-workers. This is an excellent non slip mat that holds my notebook, clock and pen. It grips items securely and is easily maintained by a quick wash if it gets dusty. I recommend keeping the backing that is provided with shipping so you have a clean surface to store it if you move from vehicle to vehicle in a fleet arrangement. It is excellent for holding, keys, phone, etc.

I bought this for my husband to use on his car dashboard. It requires no glue to stay in place on the car dashboard and objects (glasses in case, wallet, phone etc) placed on it do not move even when cornering. There is no sticky surface where you place objects so no residue. He was really impressed.
