8 gauge ofc cable is good quality and decently flexible. I'm using as leads for spot welder. The 5 ft. piece of black ground cable doesn't look black. The color has bled together with the red cable, as others have mentioned.

This wire is good for what I purchased it for, connecting a subwoofer to an amp. I dont believe I would use this wire for a power cable unless it was for a micro amp. I didnt pay attention when ordering and thought I ordered 25ft of speaker wire. I made it work though with a few y connectors from the dual voice coil 10ga speaker wires to 1 single positive and negative 8ga to amp
